The Aeronautical Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina (NAC of BiH) is a non-governmental sports organization established in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was founded in April 28, 1926 in Sarajevo. The last transformation of the Union was made in 2010, when it was registered in accordance with the Law on Associations and Fondations of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Law on Sports in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The NAC of BiH is a member of The World Air Sports Federation FAI, the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Sports Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
NAC of BiH has jurisdiction over all air sports in Bosnia and Herzegovina and cooperates with the World Air Sports Federation FAI.
Through the work of the NAC of BiH so far, there have been thousands of sports aero model pilots, sports pilots of aircraft and glider pilots, parachutists and paragliders.
The greatest sporting results were achieved by the National Aeromodelling Team of Bosnia and Herzegovina (seniors). The team started competing in 1996 and ever since they won 17 medals in total.
3 gold medals, 1 silver, and 1 bronze medal were won at the World Championships while 3 gold medals, 5 silver medals, and 4 bronze medals were won at the European Championships.
The NAC of BiH conducts annually National championships and strives to enable the participation of the National teams in the European Championships and ultimately World Championships.
